The Innovator
Truman Aubrey, the founder and owner of Janmar Lighting, started the business in his garage in 1969 with an idea and five hundred dollars. In the past 34 years, Truman has developed a number of patented, state-of-the-art lighting innovations that form the basis of Janmar’s offerings – an extensive product line of more than 600 products.
Truman’s unique ability to develop products that solve difficult lighting problems has earned him recognition as an industry leader and expert in the design and manufacture of energy-efficient lighting retrofits and fixtures.
